Product description:
- The Co-Ax Indicator provides a simplified method for centering workpieces or fixtures on horizontal or vertical machines , both for outside and inside diameters . It is also suitable for use with CNC , EDM , and other difficult-to-rotate spindles.
- The indicator pointer remains stationary in the desired position while the machine spindle rotates. This leaves the operator with both hands free to precisely position the machine table while monitoring the pointer's response and moving the table controls in a coordinated manner.
- The pointer movement decreases as the positioning error decreases until the pointer stops, indicating the coaxial alignment of the diameter being checked with the spindle axis.
- By using the Co-Ax Indicator with the running machine spindle, more accurate operating conditions for centering are simulated, as the influences of power transmission , lubricant flow , bearing characteristics and torque are integrated into the indicator display.
