1. This metal shrink stretcher has high capacity. It can bend 16 gauge aluminum and has 14 gauge aluminum capacity. The throat depth can reach 203mm, ensuring good performance in most work projects.
2. This machine consists of the body part and the jaw part. The body is made of high quality cast steel with high structural strength and stability. The jaws are made of hardened chrome steel with very high hardness and toughness.
3. It comes standard with two sets of jaws, one for shrinking and one for expanding. The hand lever controls the amount of shrinking or expanding. The considerable throat depth and recessed design allow it to work with curved or irregular pieces of metal, not just flat sheet metal. Changing between shrinking and expanding jaws is easy. Lift them out of the holder and replace.
4. This shrink stretcher can be mounted on a work table or converted into a foot pedal operated machine (stand with pedal sold separately). The cast steel frame allows the machine to shrink and stretch thick sheet metal for many years.
