The BG-4 is a belt grinder (belt sander) for metal deburring, weld cleanup, tool sharpening, edge shaping, and surface finishing in metalworking shops and for maintenance work. A 1.5 kW single-phase motor moves the belt at 19 m/s (at 50 Hz) for stock removal on steel, stainless steel, castings, and hardware parts.
The top guard opens for easier abrasive belt replacement and adjustment, and the large flat grinding area helps handle castings, bulky workpieces, and longer metal parts. The cast iron base and welded steel frame give a stable platform for grinding and polishing work, and an emergency stop switch lets you stop the machine quickly.
