BOKA RM-08 Manual Sheet Metal Bead Roller
The RM-08 is a hand-operated rotary forming machine for local profiles on sheet metal edges and suitable cylindrical workpieces. Its 177 mm throat depth provides access for thin-sheet forming in ventilation fabrication, repair work and workshop projects.
Six matched forming die sets
- Small turning dies: Edge-turning profile
- Large turning dies: Alternative edge-turning profile
- Wiring dies: Forming an edge to accommodate reinforcing wire
- Crimping dies: Forming crimped tube ends
- Burring dies: Raising or flanging an edge, not deburring
- Ogee bead dies: Forming an ogee-shaped bead profile
Use the upper and lower rolls as matched pairs and fit the spacers required for the selected set, following the manual.
Adjust forming depth and edge position
The upper adjustment handle changes roll spacing, while horizontal adjustment aligns the profiles. Adjustable guides help establish the distance from the sheet edge. A separate stop plate is provided for cylindrical workpieces.
Manual bench-mounted operation
The hand crank drives the forming rolls without an electrical supply. Clamp the base to a suitable workbench top no more than 50.8 mm thick and leave enough room for crank movement and material handling.

The RM-08 forms local beads and edges; it does not replace a three-roll slip roller for forming entire sheets into cylinders. Select material, thickness and tooling settings within the machine's capacity. Do not apply the mild steel rating unchanged to other metals. Keep hands clear of moving rolls.
