1. Metal cutting capacity: At 90°, the BS-460x330 cuts round stock up to 330 mm and rectangular stock up to 460 x 250 mm. For tubes, sections and suitable solid stock in fabrication and maintenance. Match blade type, tooth pitch and cutting conditions to the material.
2. Hydraulic workholding: The hydraulic vice clamps the workpiece for sawing. It supports the preparation of repeat components, but hydraulic clamping should not be confused with automatic stock feeding or an automatic cutting cycle.
3. Left and right mitre cuts: 45° left and right: round 305 mm, rectangular 350 x 250 mm; 60° right: round 205 mm, rectangular 205 x 250 mm. Capacity varies with the cutting angle and stock shape. Angle labels follow the supplied product data.
4. Two blade speeds: The geared drive offers 40 or 80 m/min at 50 Hz. Motor output is 1.5/2.2 kW. Select the speed to suit the material, blade and section; this is a two-speed system, not continuously variable speed control.
5. Blade size and applications: Uses a 3960 x 34 x 1.1 mm blade (length x width x thickness). For cutting tubes, sections and suitable solid stock in fabrication and maintenance. Select blade material and tooth pitch to suit the workpiece.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The BOKA BS-460x330 is a horizontal metal bandsaw with a hydraulic vice and left- and right-hand mitre cutting. It is designed for cutting tubes, sections and suitable solid stock in fabrication shops and maintenance departments.
At 90°, maximum capacity is 330 mm round and 460 x 250 mm rectangular. 45° left and right: round 305 mm, rectangular 350 x 250 mm; 60° right: round 205 mm, rectangular 205 x 250 mm.
The geared drive provides two blade speeds of 40 and 80 m/min at 50 Hz. Motor output is 1.5/2.2 kW. The blade measures 3960 x 34 x 1.1 mm (length x width x thickness).
Choose blade type and tooth pitch for the material. The cutting capacities describe the available section sizes, not unrestricted capability for every metal grade or hardness.
